  Dined there for Valentines, but evidently if you dine out in Greenville before 7:00 pm you have to eat with the loud "over 65" crowd. Not the nice quiet dinner for two I was looking forward to. Our filet was WAY undercooked and the spaghettini was just that - "teeny". I hate to say it but if you want a good meal in the $100 range, get outta Greenville....

  Every time I go to Cafe Duo - I think "this might just be their off day. There is no way a restaurant this expensive can be this bad". After giving it another try today I have accepted that bad is just the norm. There aren't enough bus boys, so dirty plates sit on tables. And every time I've been, the food has been completely under seasoned with no table salt and pepper for you to fix it yourself. The drinks are also subpar. My Bloody Mary was just tomato juice and vodka... no Tabasco, no black pepper, no worcestershire sauce... Completely flavorless, just like the food. I won't be giving Cafe Duo the benefit of the doubt anymore. I'll just take my business to Starlight.
